Lesson 2.1

Why Emotions Derail Your Plan

⏱ ± 1 min read · 👁 86 readers

Plans are made when the market is calm; execution happens while real money is moving. This difference in conditions is the source of the problem.

A pause between emotion and action. One loss does not oblige you to take the next trade.

The three most damaging emotions

  • Fear of losing → closing positions too early, or not daring to enter even though the setup is valid.
  • Greed → constantly moving the target, adding lots for no reason.
  • Revenge → jumping straight back in after a loss to "win back" the money.

Awareness is the first step. Name the emotion that shows up when you are about to break your plan — often that alone is enough to delay one wrong click.
